Important items of note:
Do I need to bring anything special?
We ask you to please bring sunblock, sunglasses, shoes suitable for walking outdoors in a natural environment, and clothing suitable for rain or shine; rain jacket and pants are a good idea.
What is your cancellation policy?
Tours canceled at least 48 hours in advance of scheduled tour departure time will receive a refund of the tour price minus any credit card processing fees. Tours canceled within 48 hours of scheduled tour departure will not receive a refund.
What is the weather like?
Our Welcome Center is located at an elevation of 2,600 feet, and our tour may take us on uneven terrain. We are building a rain forest, and certain times of the year can be very rainy, sometimes chilly. Summers are generally spectacularly sunny, but showers are possible.
That being said, this is Hawai‘i, and we are comfortable most days.
We take planting tours rain or shine.
How many trees have you planted so far?
As of January 2019, we have planted over 400,000 trees.
Can I revisit my trees after I plant them?
Some restrictions apply.
Our one-of-a-kind tracking system keeps a record of every single tree planted so you can also view your trees online with our TreeTrackerTM.
How do I prove that I am the sponsor/planter of my tree?
Your Legacy Tree will become part of a larger ecosystem, which will be managed by our foresters to ensure overall forest health.
